I had an awesome time at the Narnia Exhibition at the Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The exhibition covered The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian. There were many short movies of how they created the computer generated images in the films. I enjoyed the displays of costumes and armor and an ice throne that you could sit on. Before you walked into the exhibit, there was a small display on the life of C.S. Lewis. Then, you went walking through the wardrobe door, past some coats and branches and into snow! There were items from the Beaver's and Mr. Tumnus' homes. You could make a coat of arms and lift Peter's sword. When I was there, I fired King Miraz's catapult. Overall, the experience was amazing. The only drawback was that you could not take pictures.
The exhibit is open until January 5, 2011, and would make a great Christmas gift!
